PhD in the Program Land, Environment, Resources and Health (LERH) at the University of Padova – UNIPD, Italy (2022), included a stage at the Technische Universität Dresden, Germany

Master in the Program European Forestry (EUFO) at the Mendel University in Brno – MENDELU, Czech Republic (2017), doing the second year of master through the Erasmus+ Program at the University of Padova, Italy

Forestry Engineer at the Universidad Austral de Chile – UACh, Chile (2013), doing an academic exchange through a scholarship award provided by the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Germany

Once he obtained the title of Forestry Engineer with Cum Laude in Chile, he moved to Canada to work for almost two years in the forest inventory in the Province of Ontario, obtaining the certificates of Ecological Land Classification (ELC) and the Forest Resource Inventory (FRI) for photo-interpreters issued by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources. Once he concluded his stage in Canada, he moved to the Czech Republic to study the European Forestry (EUFO) master thanks to a merit scholarship. After his master, he worked as an associate researcher at the laboratory of geomatics at the Universidad Austral de Chile until he was awarded a scholarship to study the Land, Environment, Resources and Health (LERH) PhD program at the University of Padova, where he was a Post-Doc before integrating the CTFC team. Currently, he is a guest scientist at the Technical University of Dresden in Germany, collaborating with the research groups on forest biometry and photogrammetry and remote sensing. In addition, he is an invited professor in the Applied Geomatics Program, being responsible for the course on Photogrammetry with Drones.
