Degree in Forestry Engineering. Master’s in Tropical and International Forest Ecology from Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Germany, with collaborations at La Selva Biological Station (Costa Rica), Visayas State University (Philippines), and the Smithsonian Research Institute in Panama. PhD in Plant Biology from the Faculty of Biology, University of Barcelona (UB).
Researcher at the CTFC since 2022. Her work focuses on characterizing inter- and intraspecific variability in forest and agroforestry species, as well as selecting base materials for production, adaptation, and preservation of genetic resources in the context of climate change. She previously served as assistant researcher at IRTA (Agroforestry Team, Fruit Growing Program) in Caldes de Montbui, Barcelona. She has published 24 scientific articles (12 as first author) in international journals ranked in the first quartile (SCI), with a current h-index of 13 (Scopus). She also works as a part-time assistant professor in the Department of Plant Physiology at the University of Barcelona.
