PhD from the Universities of Lleida and Padua (Italy), Forestry Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, and Master’s in Economics from the University of Barcelona. Her main research lines focus on the analysis of socioeconomic instruments for rural development and the bioeconomy: the design and implementation of sustainable economic tools for environmental externalities (with special attention to Payments for Environmental Services); social capital for cooperation in forest management and use (social innovation, associations); the supply of forest ecosystem services (costs, motivations for forest management); and value chains of non-timber forest products (economic analysis and governance).
