PROGRAM / Biodiversity management and conservation
LINE / Conservation of agricultural ecosystems and game species

Biologist with a Master’s in Ecology, currently pursuing a PhD in ecology and conservation of steppe birds in agricultural ecosystems.

Her doctoral research explores how farmland bird species respond to landscape and management changes associated with agricultural intensification, to assess and improve the effectiveness of conservation measures. Previously, she worked with bats, developing a methodology to optimize acoustic sampling of cave-dwelling species and analyzing how bats are represented in the media. She is particularly interested in designing management strategies for biodiversity conservation in agricultural ecosystems and in evaluating public perceptions of biodiversity.
