PhD in Forest Sciences, University Lleida (UdL) and CIFOR of INIA CSIC. Forest Engineer, UdL and University College Dublin.
Her research and knowledge transfer activity focuses on adaptive and multifunctional forest management (ecosystem services preservation), forest dynamics and applied silviculture, forest inventories and planning, as well as integrated fire management in the Mediterranean. Extensive experience in national and international R&D projects and in contracts with public administrations and various organizations. Author of more than 190 scientific, technical, and outreach publications. She has served as lead of research Programme and Unit at the CTFC, associate professor in the Department of Agroforestry Engineering at UdL and in the European Forestry Master, and has worked as a private consultant and for the FAO. She has participated in boards of directors and in advisory and evaluation bodies of several organizations involved in forest research and knowledge transfer.
