LINE / Biodiversity, functional ecology and global change
Doctoral researcher at the School of Agricultural Engineering, University of Lleida (since August 2019).
He currently studies the dynamics and multifunctionality of pastures in the Northeastern Pyrenees. After completing his degree in Biology at the University of Granada, he joined the Department of Plant Protection at EEZ-CSIC in Granada while pursuing a Master’s in Advances in Agricultural Biology and Aquaculture. His main research focused on how different landscape actions could influence conservation biological control.
His current work centers on plant–soil interactions, the phenomenon of “fairy rings,” ecosystem services in pastures, and the role biodiversity plays in shaping them.
