PhD from the LERH Program at the University of Padua (UNIPD), Italy (2022). Master’s degree from the EUFO Program at Mendel University in Brno (MENDELU), Czech Republic (2017). Forestry Engineer from the Austral University of Chile (UACh), Chile (2013).

In Canada, he worked on forest inventory in Ontario, earning certifications in Ecological Land Classification (ELC) and Forest Resource Inventory (FRI) for photo-interpretation from the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources (OMNR). In the Czech Republic, he studied the EUFO program through a merit scholarship, later moving to Italy for doctoral studies funded by Chile’s National Commission for Scientific and Technological Research. Currently, he is involved in the PYSOLO and FIRE-RES projects, developing geospatial data to identify biomass sources for pyrolysis processes and for forest fire simulations, including biomass and fuel mapping. He is also a guest lecturer at the Universities of Padua, Dresden, and Chile.
