I am currently a PhD student at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). My main research interest is mathematical modeling as a support to spatial decision making in conservation.  My current research is related to the use of mathematical programming models for the spatial prioritization of conservation actions in a multi-threat environment, including the dynamics of threats. Ultimately, I am working with stochastic models for planning the release of Montseny brook newt.
