PROGRAM / Bioeconomy, health and governance
LINE / Global Forest Ecosystem Research Group

PhD in Biology from the University of New Brunswick (Canada), with a Master’s in Sustainable Water Management from Kristianstad University (Sweden) and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Her work integrates fluvial and riparian ecology with forest management and restoration, generating evidence on how forestry and fire influence biodiversity and ecosystem services. She stands out for an interdisciplinary approach that combines advanced sampling and review techniques with participatory processes to develop applied recommendations and inform science‑based policy.
