PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Barcelona (2005).
Associate Professor at the University of Lleida (UdL) and biotechnology project manager at the Center for Biotechnological and Agri-food Developments (DBA-UdL). Her research is conducted within the Agricultural Biotechnology and Bioeconomy Unit, focusing on organic processes involved in obtaining high-value-added products. Her current work includes the recovery of agro-industrial residues to produce peptones from enzymatic hydrolysates of protein waste, as well as the use of deep eutectic solvents (DES) for the transformation of compounds present in lignocellulosic residues.
