LIGNE / Écologie spatiale

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Biology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). Master’s Degree in Biodiversity and Conservation at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) – Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid.

He works as a technician in biodiversity modeling within the CARTOBIO and GREENRISK projects. His research focuses on the study of bird distribution and migration at both European and Catalan scales. His tasks include the collection, harmonization, integration, automation of processes, and spatial data analysis, as well as spatial modeling and calibration of distribution maps and distributional change. Before joining the CTFC, he was a research technician in the Evolutionary Biology group of Dr. Barton (IST Austria), where he carried out analyses of spatial databases and statistical models on spatial ecology. He has automated web scraping processes, pipelines, and data analysis for commercial purposes; participated in the census and georeferencing of the snapdragon (Antirrhinum majus) and its associated herbivores; and collaborated in drafting the master plan for urban green spaces for a municipality as an environmental technician.
