She has held postdoctoral research positions at the National Museum of Natural Sciences (Madrid, Spain), the Rey Juan Carlos University (Madrid, Spain), and the Netherlands Institute of Ecology (Wageningen, the Netherlands). She is an ecologist with a strong interest in ornithology, animal behavior, knowledge, and conservation.
