PhD in Environmental Sciences from the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2010). She has professional experience in different R & D departments as a postdoctoral researcher and project management for companies such as Aeris Tecnologías Ambientales SL, Energías Tèrmiques Bàsiques SL, Inèdit Innovació SL and research centers such as the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and the Instituto de Carboquímica del Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (ICB-CSIC).
She is a researcher associated to the Department of Chemistry of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Her research focuses on obtaining value-added products from different types of biomass by applying thermochemical processes, basically torrefaction and pyrolysis, under the biorefinery framework and in the context of bioeconomy and circular economy. She is also a cofounder and mentor of Inèdit Innovació SL.
