PhD in Conservation Biology from the University of Barcelona (2018).

His work is dedicated to biodiversity conservation and management in contexts of coexistence with diverse human activities, often within human-shaped landscapes. Much of his research focuses on forest ecosystems and threatened fauna species, particularly those associated with human–wildlife conflicts. He participates in and coordinates projects involving the monitoring of endangered species, the management and conservation of large carnivores, the functional role of human activities in ecosystems (including forest management, hunting, livestock, and public use), and the optimization of biodiversity information flows to support science-based decision-making. His projects include direct actions for habitat improvement and species conservation, and he also contributes to conservation initiatives in other regions of Europe and Asia.
